Things are moving along with getting Nathan enrolled at his new school. It looks like he'll be there two days a week starting in May, and move to full time in September. We visited on Thursday and he really enjoyed the playground.
I'm also trying to firm up vacation plans for this summer and fall. I made reservations for camping in Morro Bay the last week in August. We've been there a couple years ago and with flush toilets, hot showers, and a museum within walking distance, it is a very cushy campground. I'm also aiming to get the family to Hawaii in October. There is a genetics conference that I'd love to participate in and it'd be great if other family could come. It is still in the planning stages though.

I had a great weekend mostly due to Nathan's first sleepover. Saturday we dropped him off at Gary's parents and spent the evening helping Mike celebrate his birthday. The next day I slept in until 9am! I hadn't slept that late since before Nathan was born. Very nice.
Nathan when it was still cold.
Nathan when it is warm.
The weather is driving me crazy. I can't believe how cold it got last week and how hot it got today. The heat just sapped all my energy.

The weekend went well. I took Nathan swimming twice. He cried at first, but after a few minutes he warmed up. At the end he didn't want to get out. A big "thank you" to Ray for letting us play in his pool. Gary and I also went on a date. We got to see Avenue Q. I think the humor benefited from our having watched decent amounts of Sesame Street lately.
There is a reasonable chance we'll be switching Nathan's daycare. There is a part time opening at closer, more convenient, and more affordable preschool. If we can work it out with his current school, we're going to try and split his time between them until the new school can take him full time.

Although it was fine the first few days, now having reached the 6th day of Passover, everyone is getting sick of Matzah.
I've been really busy at work. Our department moved into a different building and it has been a big pain in the neck. Of course packing and unpacking was annoying, but I still don't have a way to get new office supplies, don't have a way to send or pick up outside mail, don't have keys to my office, don't have all my new office mate's names learned, etc. Change is stressful.
