Today was a stressful day at work. I'm starting to pack up my things in preparation for our office move next week. I'm not happy about it. I'll end up in a small office, with no window anymore, and the area is supposed to be alot more busy and gossipy. My secretary is increasingly being pulled away from her regular duties and translating for other doctors and staff. Finally, my printer ran out of ink and the refill that was supposedly ordered last week, wasn't. At times like these, I try to remeber that it is good to have a job, any job, and to work with people who are generally nice.
The weekend is going well. We spent time with Gary's parents and my parents. Both of our mothers had birthdays last week. Nathan has been "singing" more songs. Mostly he recites the words, no real melody with it, and the words are sloppy approximations, but you can figure it out. He can "sing" Twinkle, Twinkle Little star, Happy Birthday, and No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed.
From Nathan's birthday party last month.
