Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was an excellent thriller. It is the story of a betrayed investigative journalist and a young fringe private investigator trying to solve a 35 year old murder mystery in Sweden. The beginning was slow with too many suspects to keep track of, but my the middle my attention was hooked, and the end was a ton of fun. I'm sure it will be made into a movie, hopefully a good one. I give it a 9 out of 10.

Worthing Saga

Gary recommended the Worthing Saga and I generally like books by Orson Scott Card, but I was disappointed in the is one. It started out with an interesting premise and I liked the spiritual questions it raised about what makes something a god. But the middle and ending did not live up to the promising start. I rate it a 5 out of 10.
