Watchmen
Gary highly recommended I read this classic graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. Watchmen takes place in the 80's in a world on the edge of nuclear war where costumed vigilantes inspired by comic books really exist. I haven't ever read comic books before and it wasn't a good one to start with. I had a hard time just absorbing the text and pictures at the same time. Also, the multiple overlapping story lines within one frame were confusing to me. Finally, I just couldn't identify with the characters. I give it a 2 out of 10.
