Magic Street
It took me a while to get through Orson Scott Card's latest novel - Magic Street. I am a big fan of most of his stuff,Ender's Game is probably my favorite book,but this was disappointing. This is his first stab at modern fantasy and could be described as Afro-American culture meets Shakespear's fairyland. The characters are shallow, the plot is confusing, the world is never really flushed out. I rank it a 3 out of 10.
