Blue Shoe

I know understand why Anne Lamont is called a more hippy Christian writer.
Blue Shoe is the story of a mother of two kids, newly single, unemployed, stuggling with her mother's declining health and a mystery surrounding her father's past. It was less of an acutally plot, and more like spending four years in the main character's life. There are lots of referrences to faith and asking Jesus for strength, but otherwise not of the things in the book have much to do with Christianity. The drawback was khat the characters were not sympathetic and the events kind of dull. A 4 out of 10.
