Life of Pi

As part of my book group through work, I read
Life of Pi by Yann Martel. It is the story of a teenage boy, whose family owns a zoo in India and decides to move (with animals from the zoo) to the states. It has an odd religious take, as the main character early on embrasses Hinduism, Christianity, and Islam. But the fascinating part is when he gets ship-wreck and survives for several months, stranded on a life boat with the bengal tiger. A good read if somewhat odd. I give it a 8 out of 10.
